GBG Saracens

Who are the GBG Saracens?

The GBG Saracens now compete in the WFA Championship, having earned promotion through the 2024/25 play-offs.

Where do the GBG Saracens Play and Train?

The GBG Saracens compete in the WFA National League, playing in the Optegra Championship. Matches are 40 minutes long—two 20-minute halves—with all teams meeting over a weekend, typically in Nottingham, to play four to five fixtures. This format keeps travel and accommodation costs manageable for players while ensuring plenty of game time for everyone involved.

Regional fixtures follow the same structure but take place in Birmingham, offering a similar competitive experience closer to home.

The Saracens train every 2–3 weeks at Chosen Hill School, with three-hour sessions focused on drills, tactics, and match preparation. This regular and structured training has been essential in readying the team for a strong season in the WFA Championship.
